Zork II Dungeon Guide Map

Zork II: The Wizard of Frobozz might not be as maddeningly difficult as its prequel, but it most definitely remains a very taxing game indeed. The map you see above, the 1982 Zork II Dungeon Guide Map by the Zork Users Group, will not only help you with the adventure itself, but also make for a beautiful and rare collectible. Bid on it via this Zork II Map auction. Seller ships worldwide.

  3. I seem to remember Zork II being a little more difficult for me than Zork, but it's been an awfully long time so I might be remembering that wrong. Wow that map is much prettier than the one I made for myself. Just clicked over and saw that it went for over $400!

  4. Yes, very expensive indeed and definitely over-priced, but, well, still a thing of beauty. As for Zork II I've always felt that, though difficult, it made more sense than the original.

    Happy 2012 MadPlanet!

  5. Yep more sense, more complex puzzles, more cohesive and richer storyline (to my recollection). I've always said that Zork II was my favorite adventure game - given the context of the time and available technology.

and a happy new year to you too good sir Gnome! :)

  6. I'll drink to that my friend!

Oh, and have you tried the Blue Lacuna?

    Cheers!

  7. I hadn't heard of Blue Lacuna but after a quick bit of Googling I see that it looks interesting. I never really checked into the modern IF scene so I haven't played a proper contemporary text adventure game in many years. I just downloaded it to check it out. Thanks!
